Oh, and sometimes I work as myself, other times under my creative studio, Industrial Themes. If you'd like to see more of that universe, jump in here →

The Spewnicorn

Spewnicorn Screenshot Spewnicorn Screenshot Spewnicorn Screenshot Spewnicorn Screenshot
A deck building roguelike card game inspired by Slay the Spire
How It Was Made
Coded entirely in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and CSS (with a minor cameo from jQuery), this browser game even made its way to Steam via Electron.js.
Why It Was Made

As a two-year passion project, it was the ultimate playground for exploring the intricacies of JavaScript and the art of game balance—because what's a game without a little risk (and a lot of rewards)?

Features
Procedurally generated levels, a seed system for replayability, retro 8-bit pixel art, a full suite of music and sound effects, five difficulty settings, three starter deck archetypes, and hundreds of unique cards and items.
The Hardest Part
Perfecting the turn effects—taming a chaotic mix of buffs, debuffs, and multi-turn interactions required more brainpower than expected.
Future Updates
Look out for game-saving capabilities, a scoring mechanic for comparing runs, and even Steam achievements. Ready to dive into this wild ride?
